Marlboro annual spring 2012 bulk pick-up

Marlboro Annual Spring Bulk Pick-Up

Marlboro Annual Spring Bulk Pick-UpIts time again for the Marlboro Annual Spring Bulk Pick-Up. As many Marlboro residents embark on their spring cleaning efforts or perhaps home renovations, many find themselves with bulk items that need to be disposed of properly. In an effort to keep Marlboro residents informed, I would like to share the dates for the Annual Spring Bulk pick-up. According to the Marlboro public works department a madatory public bidding process was recently conducted, resulting  in a savings of over $50,000 for our taxpayers for the 2012 bulk pick-up program. This is 20% less than last year.   Marlboro’s Town Council, Department Heads and employees should be applauded for their efforts to ensure that the services are maintained at a high level while being fiscally responsible to Marlboro residents.

In keeping with our town’s commitment to making Marlboro ‘green’, the fee to bring non-construction household bulk items to the Township Recycling Center for disposal for the remainder of 2012 has been waived.

All bulk items must be placed curbside ay 7am of your scheduled pick-up date. The dates for the Marlboro Annual Spring Bulk pick-up are as follows:

  • Zones 6 & 7 – April 23rd
  • Zones 1 & 8 – April 30th
  • Zones 2 & 4 – May 7th
  • Zones 3 & 5 – May 21st
